With a shared vision to create an inclusive nurturing environment that celebrates both learning and the parent-child bond, we embarked on this journey to bring something truly special to our community.

I’m Fi, a Harrogate mum with two young children: Tommy and Elle.  I am a qualified teacher with nine years teaching experience in Harrogate schools, where I have developed a passion for inspiring a love of learning whilst working closely with both parents and their children. 

Since having my children, I have attended and enjoyed a variety of parent and child classes and experienced first-hand the impact they have on a child’s development as well as being welcomed into a community of mums who are always there to offer support and guidance.

These experiences are what have inspired me to join with Charlotte in creating Early Explorers Harrogate; a place where we can provide a nurturing space for children and their parents to experience, play and learn together.

I’m Charlotte, a proud primary school teacher. Teaching children is my passion and I have loved every moment of my teaching career so far.

My little girl Elsie was born in March 2023 and this opened up the world of maternity leave. Watching my baby grow and develop, coffees, meeting up with other mums and of course experiencing the delight of baby classes. Our local baby class was our favourite time of the week. I looked forward to seeing Elsie immersed in the environment and engaging all her senses as we sang songs, followed bright lights and shook maracas!  

The teacher in me imagined resourcing, planning and leading a captivating session for parents and babies. After an exciting conversation with my childhood friend and fellow primary school teacher Fiona, Early Explorers was born!
